PETA Museum is a museum that was established to reward former PETA soldiers for their contribution to the founding of the nation and state. PETA Museum was inaugurated on December 18, 1995 by the 2nd President of the Republic of Indonesia, Soeharto. The laying of the first stone was carried out by Mr. Umar Wirahadikusumah, he is an elder of YAPETA (Yayasan Pembela Tanah Air). YAPETA is the one who proposed the construction of the PETA Museum. The purpose of building the PETA Museum is to pay tribute to former PETA soldiers. Entering this museum, we will be greeted with a statue of General Sudirman on the right side. Then there are reliefs that decorate the right and left sides of the entrance, these reliefs depict the activities of PETA figures. In addition, there is a small library near the collection room, where students, university students and ordinary people want to find information related to PETA.
