Tugu Kujang
Tugu Kujang is an icon of the city of Bogor which looks like a heirloom weapon originating from West Java. The location of this monument is in the center of Bogor City and has a height of about 25 meters and is located in an area of ​​26 x 23 meters. Wrapped in a cleaver ornament standing on top of the peak weighs about 800 kg with a height of about 7 meters. This cleaver ornament is made of stainless steel and coated with bronze and brass. The monument, which spent around 80 million development funds, faces the Bogor Palace. The cleaver monument began to be built on May 14, 1982 and was established as a tribute to the time of the Sundanese kingdom, which was the capital of Pakuan Pajajaran. This kingdom used to fight using only makeshift weapons, namely the Kujang weapon. According to historical literature at the time of the Pakuan Pajajaran Sundanese kingdom, it was located in the city of Bogor, so the city of Bogor built a monument which is also a symbol of the city of Bogor, namely the Kujang Monument, where on top of the monument there is a Kujang weapon.
