Keraton Kasepuhan
The Kasepuhan Palace is a palace located in the Kelepuhan village, Lemahwudul, Cirebon. The meaning in every corner of the palace's architecture is also famous for its historicity. The front yard of the palace is surrounded by red brick walls and there is a pavilion inside. Keraton Kasepuhan is a building formerly known as Keraton Pakungwati which was once the seat of government of the Cirebon Sultanate. The main area of ​​the Kasepuhan palace is an area containing the main building of the Kasepuhan palace and other supporting buildings, between the main area of ​​the palace and the Langgar Agung area bordered by a wall with a gate measuring 4 × 6.5 × 4 m. The gate is equipped with two doors made of wood. When opened and closed, it will sound, it is called a door gledegan (Indonesian: thunder). The Kasepuhan Palace along with the Kanoman Palace are designated as vital objects that must be protected. The assessment is based on the consideration of the police institution, with this assessment, the local police are obliged to place their personnel to guard the palace, including the Kasepuhan palace.
