Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII)
Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is a tourist park with the theme of Indonesian culture in East Jakarta. An area of ​​approximately 150 hectares or 1.5 square kilometers. This park is a summary of the Indonesian nation's culture, covering various aspects of the daily life of the people of 26 provinces of Indonesia (in 1975) which are displayed in regional pavilions with traditional architecture, as well as displaying various clothing, dances, and regional traditions. In addition, in the middle of TMII there is a lake depicting a miniature Indonesian archipelago in the middle, a cable car, various museums, and the Keong Mas IMAX Theater and Tanah Airku Theater), these various recreational facilities make TMIII one of the leading tourist areas in capital city. TMII has a logo which basically consists of the letters TMII, short for "Taman Mini Indonesia Indah". While the mascot is a Hanoman puppet character called NITRA (Anjani Putra). The mascot of "Taman Mini Indonesia Indah" was inaugurated by Mrs. Tien Soeharto, to coincide with the two winds of TMII's age, in 1991.
