Museum Macan
Museum Macan is the first museum in Indonesia which has a collection of modern and contemporary Indonesian and international art. The tiger museum is also included in the list of the top 100 best places in the world in 2018 released by Time magazine. The museum, which was opened in 2017, has a mission to be dedicated and support interdisciplinary education and cultural exchange. As a manifestation of its mission, this museum will become an important platform for national and international artists to present their work to a global audience, as well as initiating commission works from various artists to broaden the perspective of contemporary art inside and outside Indonesia.
